Illiana Watermelon Queen
Maggie Bailey
Each year we hold our Illiana Watermelon Queen
Contest at our annual Watermelon Convention. The winner of this year's annual Illiana Queen
Pageant is Miss Maggie Bailey. After receiving training in Orlando,
Florida with the National Watermelon Promotion Board, she will be busy attending the various promotions
throughout the country.
Here she is being crowned by last year's queen Emily Frey. We believe
she will make a great spokesperson for the Association.

contest.
I heard many say they were glad not to be in the judges shoes. It must
have been a very
difficult decision. Any one of the contestants would have
made a fine representative for the Association.
